Hindsight is a wonderful thing

We all love our cars but we all love our families even more and something that provides safety for both has to be a great idea!

Parking systems have nothing to do with being a good or bad driver!
All drivers encounter situations where they cannot see due to hazards such as condensation, ice and low lying objects or even people crossing their path.

The Product

The Xvision Parking System product range is fully type approved to EEC standards. It carries JASO approval and has been CANbus tested and meets ISO 17360 European standard regulations.

The product range covers rear and front systems. All systems come with an audible alert as standard and an optional LED display. Features include a self learning facility which enables the system to function even when external accessories are fitted such as tow brackets, exterior spare wheels and rear steps (commercial vehicles). Bespoke products have been developed for specific vehicles.

The product has a self diagnostic feature. This will, for example, identify a faulty sensor and provide the technician with an audible alarm. The sensors heads are machined from aluminium castings to a very fine tolerance. They do not rely on a rubber membrane for signal oscillation resulting in greater accuracy in low temperatures. This also makes sensor painting easier and more reliable.

The manufacturing company is a tier 2 supplier to some major vehicle manufacturers. Xvision is supplied with a 3 year country wide parts warranty. It is currently supplied to a number of major Dealer Groups. It is also supplied to Ford UK who supply to all Ford UK dealers.

Audio Visual

Xvision comes in audible versions (buzzer only) or audible and visual versions (display). The display system can be fitted to the front or rear to give the driver a visual and audio warning of any impending danger.

This can be particularly useful for drivers who find it difficult to turn around when reversing. They are also useful for drivers who like to face the front when manoeuvring to keep an eye on wing mirrors etc.

The display version also informs the driver of which side the obstruction is on.

The display unit can be installed on the dashboard or in the headlining near the rear view mirror in the case of front systems or in the headlining at the rear in the case of rear systems.
